The beginning of the parade down Main Street headed for the Mid City Mall and the start of the official Kentucky Art Car Weekend Parade.
Everyone along the route seemed to have a camera in their hands.
The IUSARTCAR got a nice round of applause as it entered the Douglas Loop and was announced over the public address speakers.
Here we were parked along Main Street during the weekend event. We had lots of visitors asking about the project, the campus, and the program.
This is a shot going down Bardstown Road to the resting place at the presbyterian Church.The weekend was intense...long...hot..., but loaded with lots of interesting folks and lots of fun art car festivities. Brent and Ben came down and sold their work, Ashley came along, Amdana was there part of the day and participated in the parade, Laurel also came down for the parade even though she is a new grandmother and brought Drew along. He seemed to enjoy it a lot. The IUSARTCAR was a star for the two day event.
